Full Day Workshop: What Doctors Don't Tell You and Teachers Don't Know

Saturday, May 27, 2017
10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Peterborough Lions Club, 347 Burnham St, Peterborough ON

This workshop helps parents understand more than 30 issues common in Aspergers/ASD – children and teens who can speak and have no intellectual delay. It comes as a surprise to many parents that disorganization, chronic anxiety, sleep disturbances, clumsiness, grooming, eating, exercising, and homework problems are also part of the package.

This workshop changes a parent's understanding of Asperger’s/ASD in order to change their actions. Our goal is to help parents really understand their child's behaviours well enough to become educated advocates.
